The JCC provides a myriad of services and facilities including nursery school, after-school activities, physical education programs, day care, senior citizens programs, summer day camp, youth programs, adult classes and forums. The JCC is a meeting place for Jewish community programs and activities. There are now two locations – one in Uptown and another in Metairie.

Hillel serves Jewish undergraduates and graduates at Tulane, Loyola and the University of New Orleans. Activities include social, educational, Shabbat and holiday celebrations. cultural arts, programs in Israel, community relations (Israel, Holocaust commemoration, combating prejudice, interfaith), campus UJA, community service and counseling.

Jewish Children's Regional Service

Founded in 1855, it is a multi-service child-caring agency. The agency serves a 7-state region and provides camperships, educational aid and a placement service for children with emotional problems. It is a state accredited adoption agency.
